Turmeric Tea

This delicious hot tea gives you all the amazing health benefits of turmeric, ginger and coconut oil. The turmeric is anti inflammatory, is a tonic for the liver, kidney and heart health, helps lower triglycerides, is a powerful antioxidant, is anti cancer and can act as an anti depressant. The ginger is also anti inflammatory, is great for improving blood circulation and good for irritable bowel and digestive complaints. The coconut oil, which helps to absorb the turmeric, fights bad bacteria in the gut, is fantastic for skin, hair and nails, helps with weight loss by increasing your fat burning metabolism and can raise your good cholesterol levels. 1 mug of hot filtered water

1/2 – 1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric (or 1 teaspoon of quality organic ground turmeric)

½ tablespoon grated fresh ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon of quality organic ground ginger)

1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice

Raw honey to taste

Pinch of black pepper

Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
